Enhance Your Confidence with Natural-Looking Results

At Lakecrest Aesthetics, we understand that many women seek breast augmentation to restore lost volume, improve symmetry, or enhance their natural contours. Whether due to pregnancy, aging, or personal preference, breast augmentation can provide fuller, more proportionate breasts that align with your aesthetic goals.

What Is Breast Augmentation?

Breast augmentation, also known as augmentation mammoplasty, is a cosmetic surgical procedure designed to enhance the size, shape, and projection of the breasts. This is achieved using either saline or silicone implants, which are placed strategically to achieve a natural and balanced look.

Scheduling a consultation with Dr. Peterson can serve as a step toward realizing your goals. Recognized for his expertise in cosmetic surgery, Dr. Peterson provides guidance and inspires you to take those next steps. During a personal consultation, you can anticipate an in-depth examination of the areas of your concern, to discuss your desires, and to develop a strategic plan to obtain those desires effectively.

Types of Breast Implants

Before your procedure, you will have a detailed consultation with Dr. Peterson to determine the best implant option for your body type and desired outcome.

Implants can be placed either under the breast tissue (subglandular) or beneath the chest muscle (submuscular). Dr. Peterson will discuss the advantages of each placement method to help you make an informed decision.

Breast Augmentation vs. Breast Lift

While breast augmentation enhances size and fullness, it may not be suitable for those experiencing sagging. If your breasts have significant sagging, a breast lift may be recommended alongside augmentation to achieve a more youthful, lifted appearance.

Recovery & Aftercare

Following your surgery, you will be provided with post operative instructions. It is normal to experience pain and pressure at the pectoral muscles for the first 7 days. However, after 7 – 10 days, you will begin feeling less sore and begin to perform minimal activities.

Dr. Peterson will monitor your progress weekly to monthly for the first 3 months and again at 6 and 12 months. Before and after photos are taken at the time of surgery and again at each follow-up to monitor the settling progression of the implants. Results will vary from one patient to another and patients should have realistic expectations following your procedure.
